Estimate your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score for Canadian Permanent Residency under the 2026 IRCC framework.
⚠️ Major 2025 Policy Change — Job Offer Points Removed: IRCC eliminated the +200 and +50 job offer CRS bonus points effective March 25, 2025 to stop LMIA fraud. These points are no longer included in CRS calculations. IRCC's 2026–2027 plan proposes reintroducing points only for high-wage regulated professions, but no implementation date is confirmed as of July 2026. This calculator reflects the current active rules.
2026 Category-Based Draws:IRCC now primarily issues Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through category-based draws. The French Language Proficiency draw remains the lowest-cutoff pathway (393–419 range). Key insight: Focus on maximizing your language score (IELTS/CELPIP or TEF/TCF) and gaining Canadian work experience — these are now the most powerful CRS levers since job offer points are removed.
