Each Canadian province runs its own PR nomination stream targeting local job vacancies (Tech, Healthcare, Trades). PNP nominations provide an automatic 600 points on your federal Express Entry profile.

Expat Transition Steps

  1. Apply online for BC MSP via the Health Insurance BC portal immediately upon arrival.
  2. Obtain private emergency medical insurance to cover the mandatory 3-month waiting period.
  3. Book an appointment at an ICBC driver licensing office for your license exchange.
