Saskatchewan Tech Talent Stream Benchmarks
To qualify, your job offer must match one of the eligible NOC codes (such as NOC 21232 for Software Developers, NOC 21231 for Software Engineers, or NOC 20012 for IT Managers) and follow these criteria:
- Employer Registration: The hiring company must be registered with the SINP and obtain a **Job Approval Letter** (proving they could not find a local PR/Citizen to fill the role).
- Licensing Mandate: Certain tech roles (like engineers or engineering managers) may require registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
- Express Entry Linked: You can apply via the Express Entry sub-stream (yielding the 600 CRS point boost) or the standard non-Express Entry stream (direct paper-based provincial processing).
