AAIP Tech Pathway Core Requirements
Having an eligible NOC code is only the first step. You must also satisfy the following job offer and profile requirements:
- Active Express Entry Profile: You must have an active profile in the IRCC Express Entry pool, meeting the requirements of CEC, FSWP, or FSTP.
- Valid Job Offer: You must hold a full-time, non-seasonal job offer or be currently working for an eligible Alberta tech sector employer (under specified NAICS codes).
- Minimum CRS Score: While the standard AAIP requires higher scores, the tech pathway has drawn profiles with CRS scores as low as **300 points** in recent rounds.
- NAICS Sector Exclusions: Your employer's primary business must fall under an eligible North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code (e.g. software publishing, computer systems design, video game development).
