BC PNP Tech Stream Requirements

To qualify for the BC PNP Tech stream, you must satisfy the following criteria:

• Job Offer in Eligible NOC: You must have a valid full-time job offer from an eligible employer in British Columbia in one of the **35 targeted tech occupations** (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3).
• 1-Year Job Duration: The job offer must be at least **1 year** (365 days) in duration at the time of application. Unlike other BC PNP streams, it does not need to be permanent/indeterminate.
• Wage Standards: The wage offered must meet the prevailing market rate for that occupation in B.C.
• Employer Eligibility: The employer must have been operating in B.C. for at least 1 year (or 2 years if outside Greater Vancouver) and have a minimum of 5 full-time employees.

How to Register & Apply

The application process follows the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS):

1. Submit Registration: Create a profile in the BC PNP online portal. The system automatically awards points for your job offer, education, wage, and language.
2. Weekly Draw: BC PNP holds tech-specific draws every week. If your SIRS score meets the cutoff, you receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
3. Submit Nomination Request: Complete the full application within 30 days. The processing fee is **$1,750 CAD**. Once nominated, you get a support letter for a work permit and 600 Express Entry points.
