BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)
Complete reference to British Columbia's consolidated 2026 Skills Immigration streams, SIRS points draws, and application fees.
British Columbia has consolidated its Skills Immigration streams. The previous entry-level semi-skilled (ELSS) and standalone international graduate pathways have been deactivated. Immigration is now routed primarily through the points-based **Skilled Worker Stream** and the direct **Health Authority Stream**.
Primary BC PNP Pathways
The BC PNP currently operates under two main economic categories:
- Skilled Worker Stream: For professionals, managers, and technicians (TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) who have a valid, full-time, indeterminate job offer from an eligible B.C. employer. Requires meeting language and wage threshold standards.
- Health Authority Stream: A direct, non-points-based pathway for individuals employed by a B.C. public health authority. Available to physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals who have a job offer.
- Entrepreneur Immigration: For experienced business owners intending to invest at least $200,000 CAD to establish and manage a new or local business in B.C.
SIRS Online Selection Registry
Except for the Health Authority stream, candidates must register through the **Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS)**:
- Register for Free: Candidates enter a profile indicating their job offer details, annual wage, B.C. region (bonus points for working outside the Metro Vancouver area), and education level.
- Draw score cuts: Regular provincial draws invite the highest-scoring candidates to apply. Express Entry BC (EEBC) candidates receive priority processing if they hold a valid federal Express Entry profile.
- Submit Nomination: Nominated candidates receive an additional **600 points** in the federal Express Entry pool, practically guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian Permanent Residency.
BC PNP Application Fees (2026 Fee Increase)
B.C. increased fees for nominee applications. The current fee structures are:
| Fee Category | Fee (CAD) | Refunding Rules |
