OINP International Student Stream
How international graduates with job offers in Ontario secure provincial nomination for Permanent Residency.
You must submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) in the OINP portal **within 2 years** of the date on your official degree or diploma (the date you completed all academic requirements). Profiles submitted after 2 years are ineligible for this stream.
Applicant Eligibility Requirements
To apply under the OINP Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream, you must satisfy:
- Qualifying Canadian Education: Have completed a degree or diploma program from an eligible Canadian Designated Learning Institution (DLI). The program must be at least **2 years** in length, OR a **1-year** post-graduate degree/diploma program that requires a prior degree.
- Skilled Job Offer: Hold a valid, full-time and permanent job offer from an eligible Ontario employer in a NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupation.
- Low-Wage / Entry wage Exception: Unlike the Foreign Worker stream which requires the median wage, this student stream allows you to be paid the **entry-level wage** for that occupation in Ontario.
- No Experience Required: There is **no work experience requirement** to apply. You can apply immediately upon graduation as long as you hold the job offer.
Employer Eligibility Requirements
The hiring company must meet the standard OINP employer criteria to qualify to sponsor your nomination:

Fees and Application Processing
If you receive an invitation to apply (ITA) from Ontario, submit your forms on time:
- Application Fee GTA: The non-refundable OINP application fee is **$2,000 CAD** if the job is located inside the GTA.
- Application Fee Outside GTA: The fee is discounted to **$1,500 CAD** if the job is outside the GTA.
- Dual Intent: You can apply for this stream while on your Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
