OINP Foreign Worker Stream
How skilled workers with job offers from Ontario employers secure fast-tracked provincial nomination for Canadian PR.
You cannot apply directly to this stream. You must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) in the OINP portal. Ontario draws candidate profiles based on a points grid assessing job location (extra points outside Toronto), salary, and NOC skill levels.
Applicant Eligibility Requirements
To qualify under the OINP Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream, the applicant must satisfy the following:
- Skilled Job Offer: Hold a valid, full-time and permanent job offer from an eligible Ontario employer in a NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 occupation.
- Median Wage Requirement: The salary offered must meet or exceed the **median wage level** for that specific occupation in Ontario (as listed on the federal Job Bank).
- Work Experience: Have at least **2 years** of cumulative, paid full-time skilled work experience in the same occupation as the job offer. The experience must have been gained within the last 5 years.
- Legal Status: If you are applying from inside Canada, you must hold valid temporary resident status (work permit or visitor record).
