Current Passport Fee Framework
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) administers UAE national passport issuance, renewal and replacement services.
The current ICP renewal service lists an AED 10 application fee, AED 40 for a 5-year passport, AED 90 for a 10-year passport and AED 15 delivery. That produces standard totals of AED 65 and AED 115 respectively when the delivery fee applies.

ICP lists fee exemptions for specified categories, including individuals covered by the Social Security Law, people of determination, people with autism and certain material-error cases attributable to the authority.

Emirates currently states that passport-renewal services are available at the Arrival Level Immigration Offices at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3. The process typically takes around 30 minutes, depending on passenger volume.
Customer Happiness Centers
ICP provides passport services through Customer Happiness Centers, but the centres offering a particular passport service can vary. The current passport service page directs users to ICP's service centre information rather than establishing one permanent national list of passport centres.

Renewal While Abroad
The current ICP “Renew Passports of UAE Nationals Abroad” service has a 2-day completion duration. It requires a personal photograph and a letter issued by the UAE embassy verifying the reason for the applicant's presence outside the country. The current passport is renewed through the overseas service rather than the ordinary in-country service.

Emergency Return Document — Not a Passport Renewal
MoFA provides an electronic Return Document for UAE nationals in emergencies involving loss, damage or expiry of the ordinary passport while travelling. This service facilitates return to the UAE and should not be described as a passport-issuance service.
