A gaming applicant should be able to document actual creative distinction rather than merely state that they work for a game studio. The federal culture-and-arts framework distinguishes talent levels and, for distinguished creative professionals, identifies professional experience, recent creative work, community recognition and work with reputable entities among the relevant criteria.

Gaming founders and studios
A gaming studio founder is not automatically a culture-and-arts Golden Visa applicant. If the founder's facts fit the federal Entrepreneur category, the entrepreneur framework can be used instead. Current ICP lists an auditor letter confirming project value of at least AED 500,000 and confirmation from the relevant authority or accredited incubator that the project is innovative, technology-based or future-oriented.
Gaming technology specialists
A rendering engineer, engine programmer, AI gaming specialist or other technology professional may fit the separate digital- technology talent framework instead of culture and arts. Current federal guidance treats digital-technology talent as an exceptional- talent category requiring the competent AI/digital authority recommendation or approval.

Family residence

Extended absence
