Federal cultural-talent criteria
Pioneer / Internationally Recognised Creative
For applicants with global stature resulting from exceptional creative work.
Examples in the federal regulation include a well-known international creative award, nomination for a well-known international award, appreciation from an internationally reputable body, or an honorary position from a world-renowned organisation.
Prominent Local or Regional Creative
For applicants with a prominent local or regional position based on exceptional creative work.
The regulation identifies reputable local or regional appreciation, nomination for prestigious local/regional awards, or an honorary position from a prestigious local/regional authority.
Distinguished Creative Professional
For a creative professional with remarkable creative or intellectual production.
The regulation identifies at least five years of professional creative work, recent creative work published/distributed within the last three years, recognition by the creative community and work with reputable entities through contracts, festivals, forums, exhibitions, celebrations or teams.

Dubai Culture accreditation
Dubai Culture publishes a Creative and Talented Accreditation Service for talented people and creators in culture and the arts. Its service booklet says applicants submit the application through the Dubai Culture website, provide a passport and cultural CV, and receive a Creative and Talented Accreditation Certificate after review. The booklet states that the service is available 24/7 online and is free of charge.
Salary and financial requirements
Unlike the employment-based professional and Executive Director Golden Residency categories, the current culture-and-arts talent category is built around creative distinction and cultural authority recognition, rather than a universal monthly salary threshold.
